CG, JBM and I hit the North shoreline intent on catching reds and flounder found on the previous day. We concentrated on three drains and threw topwaters and Mann’s baby 1 minus. JBM caught one keeper red and although conditions seemed optimal, the bite wasn’t on today. We tried another drain into a West bayou and found one flounder strike was all. We happened upon a kayaker who said that the little lake had been full of reds the previous day, but they had moved on. I’m not sure what caused them to move as the weather was virtually identical to the previous day and the winds had layed all night.
