Kayak fishing trip with OH in Dickinson Bay on January 5th.
15 knot South winds - water clarity was good - fished reefs but no strikes on touts. Sheepshead seen swimming as well as mullet. Bright sunny day. Paddled out to reefs and fished lee side for 1 hour without a tap. Paddled to West shoreline and waded 1 a half-mile throwing tails without success.


East Matty - CG - South Shoreline over mud - 5 trout caught on tails. 5 knot South wind. Overcast conditons. Air temperature, mid-forties. 2 trout caught on Corkys water temperature 52 degrees. Water color was slightly off-color. Trout caught in waist deep water early, then in 4-5 water later on. Trout were staging over mud. Bottom is undulating sand but transitions to mud further out.
